Battlegrounds Mobile India Launch Party: July 8-9
Battlegrounds Mobile India, the India-specific version of the popular battle royale game, is set to celebrate its launch with a virtual party spanning July 8 and July 9. The event will feature 18 teams battling it out over two days, with a total prize pool of ₹6 lakh up for grabs.
What to Expect?
The launch party will showcase prominent PUBG Mobile streamers such as Dynamo, Mortal, GodNixon, K18, along with Ghatak and Shreeman Legend, among others.
How to Watch
Even if you’re not part of the competing teams, you can still join the festivities virtually. All matches will be streamed live on Battlegrounds Mobile India’s YouTube and Facebook channels.
About Battlegrounds Mobile India
Battlegrounds Mobile India was introduced as a replacement for PUBG Mobile after it was banned in India, along with several other Chinese apps and games. Krafton, the South Korean video game developer, initiated early access to the game in June, allowing enthusiasts to preview it before the official launch on July 2.

Data Transfer Extension
Krafton has extended the deadline for transferring data from PUBG Mobile to Battlegrounds Mobile India until July 9, from the initial deadline of July 6. Users can follow these steps to transfer their data:
- Log in to Battlegrounds Mobile India using your Facebook, Twitter, or Google account.
- Customize your in-game character.
- Confirm that you reside in India.
- Agree to the Account Data Transfer message.
- Log in using the same account used for PUBG Mobile.
- Initiate the data transfer to BGMI.
