Krafton, the developer behind PUBG Mobile, previously announced that the game would be re-launched as Battlegrounds Mobile India, exclusively for Indian players. Now, a new teaser suggests that the game might hit the market on June 18.

Teaser and Pre-registration

Pre-registration for Battlegrounds Mobile India commenced on May 18. The recent teaser shared on social media hints at a release date of June 18. The teaser, accompanied by a message from the company, reads, “We know you’ve been waiting for us for a long time. We’re super excited for the biggest drop of the year! Guess the date and let us know in the comments below.”

The teaser features images of a measurement tool, prompting players to speculate that the game could indeed launch on June 18.

Game Features

Battlegrounds Mobile India is anticipated to offer the same gameplay modes as PUBG Mobile, including battle royale, team deathmatch, and more. Players can expect familiar maps like Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, and Vikendi.

Pre-registration Rewards

Players who pre-register for the game are entitled to exclusive rewards, including a Recon Mask, Recon Outfit, 300 AG, and the Celebration Expert title. To pre-register, users can visit the Google Play store, search for the game, and tap on the “Pre-register” button. Alternatively, they can pre-register directly from the Battlegrounds Mobile India page on the Play store.

Restrictions for Minors

In response to concerns about excessive gaming among minors, Krafton has implemented specific restrictions for players under 18 years old in Battlegrounds Mobile India:

• Minors must provide the phone number of their parents or guardian to play the game.
• Gameplay is limited to a maximum of 3 hours per day for minors.
• The maximum daily spending limit in the game for minors is ₹7,000.

These measures aim to promote responsible gaming habits among younger players while ensuring a safe and enjoyable gaming experience for all.
